"Cove Boot Deconstruction"

Anatomy of a Shoe
Anatomy of a Shoe

A series of images capturing deconstruction of the Cove Boot.

Shoes are more complicated than they look. What seems simple on the outside is actually made of many layers, materials, and carefully thought-out parts.

The upper gives the boot its shape, usually in leather chosen for durability and character. Soft leather linings inside make it comfortable and breathable.
The sole has several layers for grip, support, and cushioning while hidden reinforcements shape the heel and toe. Threads, eyelets (or a zipper, in this case), and adhesives quietly hold everything together.

Every pair is a mix of materials, precision, and craftsmanship. Built layer by layer, made to last.
