DESCRIPTION

The D-Type 01 brings a modern edge to the classic monkey boot, sharpening its silhouette while honoring its utilitarian roots. We cleaned up the characteristic M sign of monkey boot and lowered the ankle height for more day to day use.  A chunky Vibram outsole grounds the boot on a slightly tapered last, giving it a confident, contemporary stance.

The upper, made with deep, glossy oiled and waxed cowhide, softens and darkens with time, quietly recording the marks of every journey. Stitch-down construction adds enduring strength and water resistance, while the Vi-Lite sole keeps each step light and effortless.

Intentionally crafted by skilled artisans through traditional shoemaking methods at Factory Wan in China. We use the best quality materials and original production machines to create these shoes.

SIZE & FIT

Take your usual leather shoe size. If you only know your sneaker size, you may want to go one size down, as leather shoes usually fit larger.

Our fit is generous and true to EU whole sizes. The leather will soften and stretch in width over time. If you’re between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one, as tight shoes will not lengthen, while a slightly roomier fit can be adjusted with an insole.

MM is the inside length of the shoe. Measure your foot from heel to the tip of your longest toe, then choose the size that leaves the room you like in front of your toes.
