The D-Type 01V is a quiet, deliberate evolution of the original D-Type 01, retaining its experimental spirit while subtly refining its character. We replaced the traditional eyelets with D-rings, lending the silhouette a distinct industrial elegance. This modern form is completed by a low-profile Vibram outsole that softens the lines, translating its bold character into an effortless shoe for everyday wear.
The upper is crafted from C.F. Stead’s Regency Calf, a smooth, hand-waxed full-grain leather with a natural pull-up that grows richer and more expressive over time. Each step gradually shapes its patina, while the Vibram Roccia Newflex outsole provides lasting comfort and dependable everyday durability.
Intentionally crafted by skilled artisans through traditional shoemaking methods at Factory Wan in China. We use the best quality materials and original production machines to create these shoes.

SIZE AND FIT
Our fit is generous and true to EU whole sizes. The leather will soften and stretch in width over time. If you’re between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one, as tight shoes will not lengthen, while a slightly roomier fit can be adjusted with an insole.
